Walking with Grampa

I finally finished this page I kept playing around with doing it different ways.
Today I decided this was it:

you can click on the picture to see it bigger. The footprints read:

I'm glad that god made Grampa
unrushed and young like me.

Also while I was at it today I finally finished the date block one this page.

E is for Elmo scrapbook page

I am rather pleased with myself, not being able to find Elmo or Sesame St. paper, I was in the card department one day and saw this cute card and thought that would work so this is what it turned out like. The pages are 6X6, the background I am using thoughout the book is the vintage blocks. I found the blocks I used for the E and his name I got on a font webpage. This was the first time she actually was up close in person with him, up until this time she had only seen Elmo on TV, but would stop what she was doing and watch him, then when he left she would loose interest. So I sent her my Clap Hands Elmo, thought it was the easiest for her, she was 8 months old, she really loves Elmo, now when she comes across other Elmos she claps his hands and is puzzled when he doesn't respond.

The Elmo that is sitting was on the back of the card, I cut it out, scanned it and then used photoshop to add her picture and have him holding it. I also cut the Elmo from the front of the card then scanned him too.
